Regulation Foundations is my blueprint framework for nervous system regulation.

This is the information I wish I had for my own healing journey. It's what I teach my clients. And now, it's what I'm so excited to be able to share with you too.

As a truly foundational & holistic nervous system approach, Regulation Foundations weaves together nervous system awareness & frameworks, effective regulation tools, nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, herbal medicine, and so much more. I created this course because there's nothing else like it out there, and I believe it's so important for everyone to have this information.

How to set yourself up for success, overview of the nervous system, neuroplasticity, the vagus nerve, sympathetic vs parasympathetic & nervous system states.

Awareness

Your window of tolerance, identifying your unique states and triggers, coping strategies, up vs downregulation, completing the cycle & high sensitivity (HSP).

WEEK THREE:

Foundations

The simplest (yet most powerful, and often ignored!) nervous system regulation tools & how you can easily integrate these into your day-to-day life.

WEEK FOUR:

Bottom-Up

Bottom-up regulation tools: how to use your body to influence your nervous system & mind (including both up & downregulation tools and vagus nerve practices).

WEEK FIVE:

Top-Down

Top-down regulation tools: how to use your mind to influence your nervous system & body, working with thoughts, emotions, worry & overwhelm.

Nutrition

How nutrition impacts the nervous system: macronutrients, blood sugar regulation, stimulation from foods & the foundations of digestion.

❌  You have a history of chronic trauma or mental health conditions and are not currently in a safe place to begin learning more about your nervous system—if this is you, I really recommend seeking 1:1 support 💛

❌  You are looking for a treatment or cure for any mental or physical health condition—this course does not claim to treat or cure any condition, rather it provides an incredibly useful framework that is important for overall wellbeing.

❌  You’re not ready to make some changes—this course won’t do anything for you if you’re not ready to make some changes to help yourself and begin to practice the things you learn. They don’t have to be big changes; a key part of my approach is slow & steady and meeting your nervous system where you’re at.

Hi, I’m Alena!

 

As a qualified naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist and Polyvagal-infomed NLP practitioner I approach nervous system regulation in a way that is holistic and unique. I developed my nervous system approach when trying to heal my own dysregulated nervous system and through many years supporting hundreds of people with their health.

My passion lies within the foundations of health: the things we all need in place to be healthy & well. My goal is to simplify these foundations and show how accessible they can be to everyone. And, you guessed it, nervous system regulation is one of the most important foundations!
